Dubbo Regional Rail Maintenance Facility

Project Background

The Dubbo Regional Rail Maintenance Facility is part of the Transport for NSW Regional Rail Project . Delivered over 3 stages, the Dubbo East Junction received realignment and resignaling, 116 non-commissioned detection points were installed, and the Mindyarra Maintenance Centre was commissioned, in order to maintain the new Regional Rail fleet upon construction completion. The signalling part of this project involved the supply, installation and termination of all main and local cables, as well as signaling infrastructure installation, testing and commissioning.

Our Involvement

Amplex supplied the 3 stages of the DRRMF project, including rail signaling cables to ARTC and Sydney Trains, whilst also supporting JMD Railtech with extra cables as needed, from stock out of our NSW warehouse. Due to unforeseen delays on the project, Amplex was able to hold the cables securely for JMDR, for up to 6 months, ready for immediate dispatch.

Scope of Supply

Rail signalling cable to ARTC and TfNSW standards
