Collector Wind Farm

The Collector Wind Farm, owned by Ratch, is a 54-turbine wind farm installation in southern NSW. It reached full generation in February 2021, with 226.8MW capacity, and a project cost of $360 million.

We are proud to have supplied grid-compliant cables, drawing on our extensive experience with substation projects to ensure critical time frames were met, whilst maintaining compliance to strict standards through the high-quality manufacturing process here at Amplex.

Amplex was approched by our large engineering client to supply grid-compliant cables. Drawing on our extensive experience on substation projects, we supplied all low, medium and DC cables for the project. This included initial production order quantities from the cable schedule, as well as unscheduled, short time frame orders.
